Use the following databases to search for LGBTQ+ Research. These databases can contain documents such as articles, reviews, primary sources, and more!

Search Terms

A key term is a word or phrase that you input into a search system to find resources. A general keyword search will try and find these terms in a number of different places, including in a resource's title, abstract, and in some cases, the full text of the resource. 

When searching for resources about LGBTQ+ people, it can be useful to try a varied of terms, as concepts and definitions have changed over time. Below are just a few examples of terms you could use, with links to the library catalogue search results.

To find LGBTQ+ research on certain themes or topics, combine with another search term by placing AND in all capital letters between your two terms. See the examples below:
