Before you can access electronic resources off campus, you will need to log in.
When prompted, log in with your university email and password to gain access.
Sometimes when looking for articles you may see an option that says "Full Text Finder." Occasionally, an article may not be available as an EPUB, HTML or PDF - you can use the Full Text Finder tool to try and find the article in another way
Clicking this option will open the Full Text Finder page. If the link is available through another provider, then you will have a link that will take you to that page.
If the article is not available as a full text, you will be prompted to fill out an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request. This link will require you to sign in using your 13 digit barcode and PIN and submit a form. Please note, that not all articles can be requested through ILL, and there may be wait times. Please contact the library for any assistance.
Use Google Scholar to search for academic literature on many subjects.
Carefully evaluate the quality of the items you find using Google Scholar. You may not be able to access all of the articles you find, but it can be a quick place to start your research!
When searching Google Scholar, you may encounter results that require you to pay for access to an article. Do not pay for access. If you encounter a paywall for an article that you need, please contact the library for assistance. You link your's King's University access to Google Scholar to ensure that you have access to articles that the library subscribes to. Follow the steps below to link your library:
