Music Research Guide: Finding Scores

Finding Scores in NEOS

Step 1: Search though this link

Step 2: Click on "advanced search"

Step 3: Scroll down on the page and look under "type" then select the box next to "Musical Score" 

Optional: You can select "The King's University" under "Library" to narrow it down to just scores at King's 

Step 4: Scroll back to the top and enter your search terms such as composer or title of the score.

Step 5: Click search

Step 6: Find the score you are interested in borrowing and click on the title

Step 7: Look for the table with the heading "holdings"

A) If King's is on the list, write down the call number and come to the library to find it on the shelf

B) If King's isn't on the list click on "Place on Hold" and work through the steps to place on hold
