Once the window loads click on “Register for a free account.”
After clicking on register for a free account, a new window will load. Fill in all of the information. Since Zotero is free you can sign up with any email you choose, however, you need to have access to the email to complete your registration.
Once you have filled out all the information and clicked “Register” a new window will load, if it looks like the screenshot below your account has been successfully created.
Navigate to your email and click on the email from Zotero. Once open, click on the link that says "click to confirm your email."
Clicking on the link should take you to a new window and you should be logged into Zotero.
Congratulations you are now registered for a Zotero account.
Once you have created an account, download the Zotero desktop app as this works better then the web page.
